| Why do we charge an Adoption Fee? Your money for the adoption fee goes to keep us going. We have many needs for fencing, portable dog pens, dog treats and toys, towels, dog grooming tools and shampoos and dip, flea drops, dog food, meds and puppy shots, rabies shots, vet bills, lawn mowers and week-eaters. So much stuff is needed to keep us going. So thanks for adopting and helping us adopt more and find more new "Happy Forever Homes"! If you can't adopt you can send us a gift card from Wal-Mart or Pet's Mart and even Lowe's where we can get needed supplies. Thanks for all the help from so many. We were given 2 needed dog houses and also a Mazda Navaho to transport the dogs in. Thanks to our "Friends of Shady Creek" who donated to our Shelter. Thanks to Our God for providing and sending us wonderful friends to help. Wishing all of you God's Blessings & Puppy Kisses! |

Our beautiful "Cowgirl" kitty, adopted from being taken to the pound. We adopted her just outside
before she was taken in. I thought she was the prettiest kitty I had ever seen. We needed a kitty to get
out dogs used to being around cats. So Cowgirl is now our kitten. She loves playing with the puppies.

She is a polydactyl. She has 6 toes on each front foot and 5 on each back. She has a total
of 22 toes where a regular cat has only 16. Called a Hemingway or mitten cat or big foot cat.

She is so delightful. She is not a
barker at all and very loving.

be held and a lap baby. She is
quiet, a love bug and cuddler.
She has had her shots too. Must
promise to spay her. Will make a
great small companion. She may
weigh 7-9 lbs or so. Have not
had her on scales so that is a

| "Long Distance Foster Parent", guardian angel so to speak for a rescue puppy here at Shady Creek Rescue You can be a foster parent and leave the puppy here. If you would like to be a long distance foster home you can by mail. You would send the money for any shots and dog food for the puppy. You would receive weekly pictures and updates by email and once a month a video of them walking and playing by mail on a cd. You can send toys, chewies, rawhide chews and bandannas or buy a dog house or help here in any way your finances permit you. The needs are great here. Please help us help dogs needing love and homes. For just $5.00 (or more as you like and can help) a week you can be the "Long Distance Foster Parent", a guardian angel until the dog gets adopted or you no longer want to participate in the "Long Distance Foster Parent" program.
