Shady Creek Farm Shady Creek Dogs & Puppy Rescue More About Us...
|
I am Theresa Clark, living here, at Shady Creek Farm, on 10 acres with huge trees and a creek.
I live in a house from God, that my Church built for me because the one I had needed much extensive
repairs. I cannot say how grateful I am to God and everyone that helped or donated to give me this
little house in the country on my land here. What a miracle and answer to many prayers. A real life
miracle and such a huge surprise! I had given up on getting a house and living in an old run down mobile
home I could not fix by myself. God intervened and Jesus showed love and mercy on me giving men a
desire to build a home for me. I live in the house that God built.
My Grandkids are a big love of mine. What a joy to spend time with my four grandkids! They are a
special joy in my life as are my 3 grown kids. I raise Schipperkes and do help puppies & dogs that need
homes. I have gotten loving homes for over LOTS of dogs and puppies. I do take in abandoned or
unwanted litters or other rescues and find them homes after socializing them and giving them their
needed shots. I love taking photographs of dogs and making websites. I love doing the photos of dogs.
That is a strong passion of mine. Most of the pics on this site were done my be. I built this website too.
I love showing my Schipperkes and was the trainer and exhibitor on my Champion Shacre's Rock N
Elvis. I love the competition, showing off my dog and the friendships that develop with dog people.
A look at Shady Creek Farm...taking a walk
I started out with a Schipperke 17 years ago and
fell in love with Schipperkes. It was a long while
before I got the show quality dogs and began
showing. I love it. I also got into Blackbelly
Barbados Sheep and that prompted me to get the
Great Pyrenees to protect the sheep. I no longer
have the sheep but do have the Great Pyrenees. I
fell into rescue work and do a lot of it now, being
my third passion. My second passion is for the
Schipperkes. I thank my Lord Jesus for letting me
find a breed that I do enjoy so very much and
getting my beautiful and super smart Champion
male, Rock N Elvis.
My first passion is for Bible Study and Jesus. I
love him and praise him for loving me and know he
knew me before I was born and watches over me,
caring for me daily. See my Jesus page. So many
people don't realize how they have a huge hole
inside them that only Jesus can fill and try to fill it
with so many other things. Nothing else satisfies. I
even found my whole name in Bible Code in the
book of Kings with the words "helps dogs" in the
same passage. See Jesus page.

Why do we charge an Adoption Fee? Your money for the adoption fee goes to keep us going. We have many needs for fencing, portable dog pens, dog treats and toys, towels, dog grooming tools and shampoos and dip, flea drops, dog food, meds and puppy shots, rabies shots, vet bills, lawn mowers and weed-eaters. So much stuff is needed to keep us going. So thanks for adopting and helping us adopt more and find more new "Happy Forever Homes"! If you can't adopt you can send us a gift card from Wal-Mart or Pet's Mart and even Lowe's where we can get needed supplies if you want to help out. Thanks for all the help from so many. We were given 2 needed dog houses and also a Mazda Navaho to transport the dogs in. Thanks to our "Friends of Shady Creek" who donated to our dogs here. Many of our dogs are fostered at someone's house and a HUGE thank-you to those families for their loving help! Thanks to Our God for providing and sending us wonderful friends to help. Wishing all of you God's Blessings & Puppy Kisses!

THE LAND AT SHADY CREEK
We are situated on 7 acres that has pasture area in the front with
large trees dotting it and the back 2/3 is heavily tree covered with
oodles of shade and a tiny trickling creek meandering through it. I
hope to buy the 3 acres joining us on the west, we are using that
land right now to run and play on. The dogs love to splash and run
through the water and sit on the cold sand at the tiny creek. Even
when it is terribly sweltering hot the creek bed is still nice and cool.
There are squirrels to chase and even an occasional deer to bark at.
Wild turkeys I've seen eating just 90 feet out my back window.
My philosophy is that dogs are dogs and not mice. They each need
room to play and think they should not be living their lives in dog
crates with hardly room to turn around. I have my dogs in groups and
have several yards for them. Of course if one has puppies or is in
heat or sick it must be confined to a small area or a crate during that
time. I have seen dogs living their whole lives in dog crates only to
be let outside for 15 minutes a few times a day and it makes me
SAD!!! No dog should live that way and not live on wire. Their feet
are not made to live on wire. I know dogs love to think and wonder
and have inquisitive minds. They are a pack animal so living in
groups is how they like to live. So I try my best to do what I can to
create a nice environment for the dogs here.
I have found nice loving homes for so many dogs! I am proud of that
and hope to be able to keep doing that work for the rest of my life
here on earth.
There is a 3.2 acre tract of land joining mine. It belongs to my son.
He has it for sale but I am praying somehow I can purchase it from
him for us to use. So join me in prayer for God's best plan on the
land. If it his will for me to have it then he will make a way for it to
happen if we ask him and pray for his will. Thank-you. Most of the
pics above except for the first one where all the dogs are walking in
the video are of that land for sale. So please view it again and pray
as you watch it. We need $1,100.00 as a down payment if we are to
secure the three acres on lot #58 and the total price to us is only
seven thousand for the 3.2 acres so we are in hopes of getting it.
Please pray and continue to pray for our other expenses including
more fencing and we need a weed-eater where we can't get with the
riding mower. I am praying for someone to donate that has time and
know-how and supplies to do more fencing for us. Your buying a
puppy helps us keep going and provides the dog food and shots
along with everything else. Thanks! Wishing you God's Blessings &
Puppy Kisses!!!! Theresa, Servant of Jesus Christ, My Coming King
We are a privately run
and owned facility here
in Oklahoma nestled in
the trees. We raise
Schipperke dogs and
we find homes for
Rescue puppies or dogs
needing help in finding
that "Happy Forever
Home". We rescue all
breeds and mixes and
give them shelter and
shots and use the
internet to find the
homes with love. We
have been blessed to
find such wonderful
people that have given
love and shelter to
sweet puppies that have
enriched their lives and
families like our own
dogs have enriched our
life here at Shady Creek
Farm. We are not tax
free or associated with
any other rescues or
government facility. I am
proud of the many
homes we have found
for sweet puppies.
This is NOT a dog. Blackjack my llama! Very independent. He will not let me brush him.
